The Clark Gallery of Fine Art, located in historic St. Michaels, Maryland is home to the contemporary and abstract art created by artists Heidi Clark and Patricia G. Spitaleri.
Patricia was the founder and former owner of Easton's South Street Gallery. Her art is exciting, passionate, full of color and movement. Born in New York, she studied Still Life and Landscapes but dit not feel a freedom in her painting. In studying Abstract painting, she was able to express her love of life and the color that surrounded her through her brush strokes and a palette knife.
Artist Heidi Clark is a self-taught artist who has a deep passion and endless curiosity for abstract art. Her ongoing exploration with non-traditional and different mediums, create interesting textures and beautiful surfaces.
Weeks are spent testing new processes, blending various mediums, that result in exquisite and compelling paintings. After spending 28 years as a deputy sheriff following the rules, she dedicates her art to breaking the rules. Her goal is to challenge the viewer, draw them in and engage their mind!Heidi's art is multi-faceted. She loves mixed media, incorporating metals, ink, paint and cast paper to create works full of dimension and contrasts.
